The Interstate Bowling All Star program brings the best bowlers from the States of Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina together three times a year to play for bragging rights as a team and to win scholarship money as individuals.

Competition began in 1995 between the Carolinas with Georgia joining the action in 1996.

Starting in 2009, teams are composed of four divisions designated by gender and age (as of August 1st):

  • Ages 15 and under
    (11 members/team each)
  • Ages 16-20
    (11 members/team each)

USBC sanctioned tournaments begin on Saturday afternoon and are composed of two 3-game sets with each team's lowest score per game being discarded.

The teams then meet on Sunday morning to bowl 12 games Baker styleThe Baker style scores are added to Saturday's scores to determine the tournament champions by division and state.

Individual awards based on Saturday's scores are presented within each division for high game and high series.

After the third tournament, scholarship awards are presented to the top bowler of each division across all three tournaments based on total pins (Bowler of the Year).
